Bitter Water Slips down my throat Slowly it travels down It burns my heart My body churns with enmity As it tries to quench my thirst It was supposed to be sweet Rich and cool to my tongue I was sadly mistaken A cruel illusion of life How sweet its water May appear but turns bitter And Dry
