Unseen

As soon as something goes right,

Something goes wrong.

I can't catch a break,

The world's just too strong.

I try to behave,

I do the best that I can.

At times it is hard,

But it's out of my hands.

I push forward blindly,

I try to do right.

But still do I stumble,

Though it's hidden from sight.

My heart cries for help,

Tears stream from covert eyes.

I seem to stand tall,

But it is all just a guise.
