Unseen Being

There is something I hear

Something that I cannot see that is near

This Unseen Being picks up

Leaves and dust crash into my face with intensity

For protection my eyes are nearly shut

I see dark, black clouds overhead

Showing a storm is to come

The wind howls through my ears

Telling me to run in fear

The trees are forced to dance uncontrollably

The grass bends in anxiousness

The unseen thing laughs as if happy

With nature's stress

I wish I could fight it

I wish I could be free

And hide

But I cannot fight

Something I cannot see

The tension here is palpable, you've written an intense and vivid poem. The use of emotion, suspense and detail is skillful done.
