Unspoken Lives

My beating heart collapse over the

lies that would whisper,

so quietly to my uneasy mind.

The television was on, but only caught my attention with the song:

"You ain't never had a friend like me!"

Though my eyes were weary and held too much, they could not

stop staring at the happy

blue man named Genie.

It was as if my soul sank,

sank into a sea of constellations,

and Genie was the conductor.

Some might say he's an actor, but in

my eyes,

he's medicine for my unquestionable

doubt on life.

For that, Robin Williams, (or Genie for most),

taught me more about happiness than one man could.
