UNSTABLE GROUNDS

UNSTABLE GROUNDS

The glass window is stained from the winters rain
and the wooden doors are being eaten up with time,
as my mind swing open doors of images,-
that dance around in my mind
in perfect sync….
where words were very precisely,-
that was once penned out nicely.

But all that is gone….
Yet these old memories keep hanging on
like a sad painful song,-
that keeps playing is tunes
that brings on the blues,-
leaving me feeling I caught the Flue.

I can still remember when he strolls right on in my life,
I doubt it would have been easier just to walk back outside,-
every since I feel I am walking on unstable grounds
when he is around.
