An unstoppable difference

Poetry becomes the voice that soceity tends to shut down.

They look at them and with shocked looks say wow.

Their love has been forbidden by his mother.

Her only sin has been not to be an Afghan daughter.

Nationality, language, and religion play their part.

However, she knows their love is grand.

Simply wishes his parents' approval was in her hand.

Poetry becomes the choice.

To release the frustration of her heart with her voice.
