Unsuspected Friend

Air, sustenance, sleep, poetry

blessed to have all these.

I might be ungrateful, or a little bit hateful.

People come and go but these never die.

Thats why I'm living on the wild side.

Sun up, Sun down

School gave me aniexty, headaches and frowns.

Never a true friend to come by,

I would search but mostly cry.

Looking long but mostly wrong.

Living was the critera

poetry outruled.

Until I discovered

poetry ain't living until I do.

Lifelong companion, I have now

People will always ask how

Pushing me until I break out

of my coccon, or become a sprout.
