Untamed flower

A wandered man, dug his weathered hands into my watered soul. Took me by the stem, he did it with such force a bear hold. "I know what they come for" Simple touch turning into pulsing lust The pleasure of men Isn't enough... Elders would say "Girl hush why do you say so much, this isn't something you should talk about" Instead of roses growing out of your sweet mouth It's more like dandelions free and wild" "I'm appalled of what you say, shouldn't it matter what I think or how I should hunt my prey. Should I not be offended by your disadvantages. I know I'm not tamed but what does it matter to you

Jovelyn

I'm a 19 year old black girl who's always been in love with poetry, I've been writing poetry since I was 13, it's a way for me to express myself and my visions. I'm also horrible at describing myself lol. Anyway I'm happy I found a platform where I can share my art with others who enjoy poetry as much as I do My instagram is @seawh0re
