Until Dawn
Is love a sham?
Does he know who I am?
Really?
Or does he see a silly,
Ridiculous nerd?
Or can he see the inner bird?
She want's to spreag her wings,
Know he listens when she sings.
Just a lonely swan,
Swimming in an empty pond.
Wondering who she wants to be,
Knowing what she wants to see.
Her reflection at sunrise,
So she can read her reflection's eyes.
Know what's going on iun her mind,
Not effected by the racing time.
She flows with the ripples,
Her loneliness triples.
As she shivers in the breeze,
Settling into a glide with ease.
She knows it's there,
She knows how to care.
She knows how to be true,
When she knows she can't make it through
The good times and the bad,
No matter how happy or sad.
She knows love is real,
It's something she can't conceal,
Or hide from the eyes,
Of those who pry,
Deep into the life of this swan,
Whatching and waiting until dawn.
