Until the Day He Takes

             As the sun rises and
Another day takes flight;
The blessing is fulfilled again.
As the dew begins to lite;
My heart flutters,
For my love is forever in sight.

If only I could freeze time,
For this would be the place.
With you in my arms, thinking back.
To the first day as I pace;
To this moment, and times between.
While I look and stare into your face.

I make a vow,
One I hope to never break.
To always be there,
And to cherish everyday we awake.
The vow will always be in place.
Until the day he takes.

As the sun rises and
Another say takes flight;
The blessing is fulfilled again.
As the dew begins to lite;
My heart flutters,
For my love is forever in sight.

If only i could freeze time,
For this would be the place.
With you in my arms, thinking back.
To the first day as I pace;
To this moment, times inbetween.
While I look and stare into your face.

I make a vow,
One I hope to never break.
To always be there,
And to cherish everyday we awake.
The vow will always be in place.
Until the day he takes.

As the sun rises and
Another say takes flight;
The blessing is fulfilled again.
As the dew begins to lite;
My heart flutters,
For my love is forever in sight.

If only i could freeze time,
For this would be the place.
With you in my arms, thinking back.
To the first day as I pace;
To this moment, times inbetween.
While I look and stare into your face.

I make a vow,
One I hope to never break.
To always be there,
And to cherish everyday we awake.
The vow will always be in place.
Until the day he takes.
