Until Daylight Returns
"Storms raging all around
taunting us to go underground.
Thunder shaking the earth below
Wind bending branches to see how far they will go.
Sirens screeching out the call
Run and hide, stay safe from all.
The rain turns gentle, anger all released
Letting them have peaceful sleep.
Others may cry and others may mourn,
But no one knows until daylight returns."
