It was always happy endings,

But this one seemed so different

Knowing that you wouldn't be here anymore

I never thought I could stomach the pain

Hurting days and nights

Crying on and off about things that went wrong

I was so used to happy endings that 

Knowing it was just the beginning, was even harder

Just to be thankful for the full days I had with you, 

Now it's all just memories.
