Untitled

You really don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone

especially when you cry when “your song” comes on

Thoughts of you consume my mind all day

how much I miss you in the craziest way

You were the only one I could talk to

it’ll take time to forget that I lost you

You know I’ve never felt this way about anyone

consumed with passion and warmth like the sun

Always there to comfort me and shine a little light

I could always talk to you no matter how late at night

Life has a funny way of making you appreciate things

you never know what the day will unfold or what it brings

I’ll never truly know why things happened that day

but I will keep you in my thoughts as I close my eyes to pray
