(Untitled)

I saw it on your face The moment you made your choice The moment it became clear to you That it wasn't me. I saw you looking At the worst parts of me And taking up The mantle of neglect. I knew this would happen. The writing was on the wall, But I couldn't take the time To read. I could have taken care of you. I would have taken care of you, If you needed. If you wanted. I would have given you All of me. Yet you turn. There is a part of me Still tangled in your sheets. So now I add you amongst The few men Who have been inside me And never really left.
