Untitled
you said be somewhere and some where is not where i want to be.
no see... there is a place to be.
cenote bellows in rumbling underworld..
the world's belly gurgles trying to engulf me.
and my mind cant reach past the not breathing part,
but i let live and let death wach over me oxygenating the skin i've grown to get used to.
breath rich with black jade shards rustling up my blood stream,
the gold rush melting in the hottest fire i've managed to conduct within me.
soul catching the edges on fire,
it's always been a careless one.
a little singe never hurt anybody...makes the senses quicker.
could i be drowning?
it's not drowning if i've not paniking.
am i living, am i dying with style?
am i dying with purpose,
am i dying with a laugh?
no, i'm swallowing each day whole like a sweet moon cake,
chased with a warm milk....
let it melt into my fingertips,
the ends of my lashes as my cheat rises in humming midnights of purples and blacks..
i mostly live for the night.
everything looks so much more much more...
i want the lights to be much more dramatic,
and you crank it up so they kinda sizzle?
i like em bright,
i like em when they painfully stand out.
makes me think of vegas...
and how humans are hedons for recognition.
i know i dream of being free from the restraints i put on myself.
and once i am,
once i trust my strengths are measures i'll defeat the sunset's race to the end of the earth.
