Untitled
All I want is to love you when you need it,
When the world is falling to bits,
When society demands that I stop loving you.
I know that in the end,
when everything implodes on itself,
it will be you holding my hand through the hardships,
Stitching up the tattered pieces of my heart.
And when you kiss me in the most vulnerable place,
As the earth burns to ashes,
As this noose tightening slowly around us all,
The rope that I know can no longer even hope to slacken,
I know that there is a light in the darkness.
Spark this candle with me, darling,
Because I think that we can last.
The world is ours to fight for.
We will fight against that which will destroy our home.
And the devil will scream when the burning whip of love,
Lashes taut against his back.
And Beelzebub will fall to his knees,
When he cannot stand against all of us.
We will save our world.
