They say look into your own heart and follow your own mind, but did they know those can be a trap.
They dont even know the meaning of ownership and democracy, those stripes and bright stars own you.
A place thats supposed to help you concentrate but is more like a concentration camp.
Incarcerated by your ownself, they say slavery is done, its abolished, but hypocrisy is the United States synonym.
Red for the blood shed, White for superior, and blue for the sorrow of our ancestors.
Thinking freely comes with a price, acting freely comes with a tax and life in general comes with a fee
but in jail to the welcoming miss america a cot and three meals a day are free.
you want to leave but you cant because the shackles and chains put on by society cant be broken, the bars are set and they cant be bent.
skin complexions, race, and religion have already been noticed and noone can turn a blind eye.
A place thats supposed to help you concentrate in life just became a concentration camp.
Who knows our fate but the real almighty, imprisoned in a free place, where u end up in a cot or six feet under.
Forced to feel the vibrations of your superiors walk over your memories.
memories that will soon decompose with your bones, your freedom, and still charge you for the box they put you to rest in...
