Untitled

I woke up today alone and then

I realized I am one of my own

I don't think like them

I don't act like it bothers me, I defend

There is more to the story

Younger, how could I have known, seen differently

those lies were so intricately sewn

an attack on our men, over years and years

a fight in which they must contend

To restore the glory

From power we rose

now our story is to decompose

While HIS story runs rampant

I do wonder now and then

if the message that they send

cause any to worry

Though it's be better for me to pretend

it doesn't hurt

but it does.

Lie if you choose

you can not change history

we will prevail

we always do.
