Untitled 3

Let me tell you about oranges

Their sharp burst of tangy sweet

exploding in your mouth, let me tell you

about the work it takes

to get there.

About the layers and the time

it takes to get to the thing you really want.

And when you finally get to the middle,

and unwrap your prize,

why don't you tell me

how sweet it is.
