Untitled

There's a rainbow outside my window but it's slowly fading away Just like the relationship we almost had, i guess we'll have to wait We both still have the feelings but we know that it'd be wrong To take that next step forward then i'll have to leave you here alone I want so bad to kiss you but i'm afriad that you'd get mad For taking advantage of the situation and everything we'd had The trust we have in each other will run us to the grave And when one is around the other we could only hope they would behave Every single hug and every little wink You make me smile so much to the point that i can't think This whole room is silent besides this wall between us screaming "Tear me down, guys! come on! please, believe me!" It's paper thin, a life line really This secret code it makes me dizzy A simple gesture, a timid hand We both reach out and test the strand We can taste the future we wish we had But reality reels us back a tad And in that moment we steal a look Apologetic, sorry for the tour we took We slip into our previous state Both understanding that what we want must wait And so for now we'll stay best friends With this love for each other until the end
