Untitled

I dream in black and white
I bleed the color of your eyes

All I can see is your lips
Gently glazing over mine

As the sun set
I saw my rose petals in the flame

And I sprinkled the ashes
On the grave you set for me

I felt the pain of the pop
As you tied my cherry stem with your tongue

Our bodies intertwined
In a serenade of warmth

As you ripped your stem from my flower
My body went cold

You walked in the ocean
With no intention of returning

But you didn’t drown
I did
