Untitled
A sight so sad that can melt your heart
The way things go when families are ripped apart
What can start off as just a heated debate
Can end with the police coming a second too late
What do you do when your mother and father fight?
If she yells too loud he beats her all night
What do you do when your big brother goes to jail?
He's your protector now your life is hell
Your sister has a child out wedlock
And the baby's father is in the second cell block
r58-946
Every Wednesday she's up at the jail throwin bricks
And on top of all that she's suffering from bulimia
The worst part of it all is your little brother has leukemia
You feel like your life's over, but you don't know what's in store
All you know is it's too hard and you can't take it anymore
So you get yourself a gun and you’re about to pull the trigger
You’re seconds away from quitting life, when you start to figure
You want to blow your brains out, and just end it all
But if you die and leave the world, what does it really solve?
Suddenly life just doesn’t seem so glum
So you take a deep breath and put away that gun
Smoking to forget about your troubles
You take a toke of that pipe, every time it bubbles
Vicious cycle becoming ever continuous
All the thoughts in your mind, now ambiguous
You have a child but you’re not certain of her father
Everything is becoming a distraction so why bother?
You’ve got a problem, but you’re too high to realize
What’s your future like, let’s hypothesize.
Let’s look into the mind of your impressionable child
Let’s see how it affects her when you’re reckless and wild
This is the fate your drug induced state reveals
Through her eyes here’s what she feels:
Abandoned by her mother, left her alone and cold
She's crying to herself, she's only six years old
Her mother said she was coming back in a few
But the girl knew that was lie before she was out of view
She had a habit of leaving and coming back real late
Chasing that high took her all over the state
Little did she know, her baby girl was getting raped
But by the guy that she claimed owned the mask and cape
Superman she called him, here to save the day
But she gave him all love and pain went her childs way
She left her alone with him and he took her innocence
The drugs burned up her brain cells, defeating common sense
She knew deep down in her heart she was wrong
But the drugs had a hold on her mind-extra strong
She left her baby girl at her mother's, west side
Chasing another pipe-dream, just a wild ride
But just this one time, she wouldn't make it home
She was walking by herself, late at night, all alone
Dope fiends have no shame, it's easy to end a person
It's amazing how little death hurts when you’re already hurting
