untitled

Doomed to a life you loathe, Cursed by your fate, Nobody to love yet plenty to hate, No room for forgiveness, The time for redemption has passed, With no soul to save you, you are mine at last. My eyes stare lifelessly through you, I see what it is you hide from the world. Resentment settles in beginning to threaten my sanity, I had grown complacent but now I turn away with rage, Thought I knew pain until I met you, But clearly now I can see, I'm nothing but your flavor of the week, Not the only flavor you have known, But I assure you the best you will ever get, But I'm tired of the same song and dance, Fed up with your games, Love is a fairy tale, and bone that is over told. I switch channels and play a new tune, Allowing my heart to skip to a new beat because, While I gave you everything you wanted more, However when I wanted equal treatment, I felt like nothing but your whore, So I'm doomed to search forever knowing, I will never find that one who can give me what I need...
