untitled
have you ever considered
how much earth loves the sea
each and every day
the sea wallops the rocks
but they never protest
sometimes the sea
caresses the cliffs
lovingly
as if in apology
for each story night
do you want to know
the best part
of their
love
gradually the rocks erode
slowly but surely
the sharp cliffs
become smooth
and wear down
bit by bit by bit
until they are gone
melted away
then the earth
and the sea
will have become
a single entity
one inseparable
love
