Untitled

Untitled

I kept running,

Until I had to stop

I curled up into a ball

My arms hugging my knees tightly

Before I knew it, it was raining buckets

And my face was wet from sobbing

I couldn’t move an inch for I ached to much

My heart throbbing,

My fingers numb

I slowly lost consciousness

And the earth drifted away.

Then I remembered.

I am me.

I am the only person

Who is entirely me.

Although it hurts and

Although it burns,

I need to stand up.

Fight against the pain,

Emotional and physical,

And make the change

I envision. I rose up

Stronger than ever before,

And became.
