Untitled

So there is a girl, who just has a dream

and this dream is the real her that nobody sees

those who surround her,

claim to know her more than they do

but what they really know is a her that just isn't true.

she's been a friend to many who've come and past

but only let few in, and not all had last.

As time had gone by, she'd noticed who was true

but of those who remained true to her,

some still became just someone she knew.

The one who had been there for her through thick and thin

is now someone she can hardly depend.

And to that is to blame, only her mistakes

for she decided to go with the flow, despite what's at stake.

now that is gone, something she can't get back

something she now realizes, and is okay with that.

And when she walked away on the one who'd been there for years,

her eyes were then opened to another who withstood her tears.

Tears that had last no longer than a week or two,

for this new guy had her heart before she even knew.

It was the quickest bond she had ever gained,

since he was someone who also felt her pains.

But negative they were not, as laughter was shared

soon love exchanged, both bodies so bare.

Then out of nowhere, she's left in the dust

reasons unknown, and she hopes not out of lust.

Losing the second hurt more than the first,

as he made her feel that for once she had worth.

He loved when she sang, as she longed to do

and made her feel beautiful- a feeling she never knew.

She's at a loss now because all that is gone

and knows not what to do

when all her heart knows is he is the one.
