Untitled

The brain damages the body during the day

The body repairs itself at night

Abstaining from sleep is just another form of self-destruction

Not taking responsibility for my body, only my actions

Only taking responsibility for the things I have said or not said day in and day out

Done or not done

Always moving forward, neck twisting towards the past

I cannot accept that yesterday and tomorrow are two separate entities

Cannot accept that the fear instilled in both does not bind them

Sameness is hard to come by

Even in repetition, I do not find consistency

Trying to make sense of everything wears on the mind

The mind wears on the body

Balance is all I can hope for
