Untitled
Who do you talk to when there is no one to talk to?
I guess you talk to yourself, but then you're crazy... right?
Or you'll be viewed as crazy either way.
What do you do when you just feel so misunderstood,
but you know you're not,
you know you're probably being over dramatic,
but you still feel trapped inside your mind,
with thoughts banging on the walls,
screaming to be let out.
Thoughts that you cannot put into words,
because your mouth won't form the right ones.
You want everyone to like you,
and yet why do you want that?
When you yourself don't like many of the people around you?
It's selfish, and it's hypocritical,
yet you are neither of those things...
or are you?
Are you something you never wanted to be?
Someone you never wanted to be?
Deep down, you know who you are,
or you know you know who you are,
or should know, anyway.
Then why are you so confused,
your mind a cloud bursting with rain
that is not allowed to fall,
because you won't let it?
You just want to SCREAM.
You want to let everything pour out of your every pore
and bare your soul to the world.
You want to be an open book,
but no one will take the time to read it.
You don't even want to read it.
Because you are afraid
of what lies beyond the cover.
