Good Christian friends, come one, come all! Condemn the fag, the whore, and the Atheist. Condemn the Sikh, the friendly Muslim neighbor, and the peaceful, devout Buddhist. Condemn the Harry Potter reader, and free-thinker. Shun the closet-bisexual, who happens to be your best friend. Condemn your brother, who was really your sister all along. PROTECT OUR CHILDREN! We do it out of love… Holy isn’t individuality. Holy isn’t the harmless gay couple across the street. Holy isn’t the Hindu doctor, who volunteers at the soup kitchen and saved your son, who had a hole in his heart. Holy isn’t your loving, cheerleader daughter on high honor roll, who happens to be a lesbian. Holy isn’t the free thinker. Holy isn’t the disabled war veteran on benefits. Holy isn’t the recovering drug addict, who needs help. Holy isn’t the pregnant woman, who wants an abortion, because she has to go on chemotherapy in order to fight cancer and raise her three daughters. Holy isn’t the brown-skinned, long-haired, Middle Eastern man, who said, “love thy neighbor as thyself,” and “Accept the outcasts of the world.” Holy isn’t he who taught love, for love is an act of heresy.
