Your words sink deep
I can smell the earth
Crumbling with each
Seeded syllable
Rooted
The natural embrace
Words and heart
Thoughts and soul
I've learned to watch
All these grow
Solid plants for delicate fingers
Or is it
Delicate plants for solid fingers
Either way
Through rebirth or decay
I'll face the eyes that cut the skies
And Sweet, there is no compromise
Just gentle sighs and quiet lullabies
