Your false promises

left me broken

Your tales of love

left me chokin

My heart in shambles

My mind out of sort

my soul in search of answers

And no way to retort

I tried to Hate you

I tried to let go

But you pulled me so close

I couldn't say no

So here I am stranded

Between love and disgust

Pleading with god

To give no other my trust
