If you were to tell me that you needed me

I would be there for you

I'll drop everything and be ready

If you told me you would give me the moon and the sun

I would give you the world

And me heart that you already won

To confess my feelings would be too much to stress

I'll get to nervous and forget about it all

I'll measure how I feel because this is all a test

By liking you I've already failed

I can't get to close to you

The scent of your love, I've already inhaled

I'm in need of you and all of you to take

I lay here starting at the ceiling

Feeling my heart about to break

I'm not right for you and you've made it clear

You don't want me to be apart of your life

It hurts to much, I'm brought to tears

I wake up and realize you weren't mine from the start

It was all too empty. I was caught up in my own thoughts

I surrendered and fully gave you my heart

Now I'm here alone in distraught

You made up your mind in a blink of an eye

I lost this battle that I didn't even know it was prepared to be fought

I will never be what you want or what you need

I'll be alone forever

I won't even beg let alone plead

I'll leave you alone until this heartache will end

You never wanted anything to do with me

So just stop. Don't pretend

Today is a day where I'll forget about you

I won't think or talk about what could have been

Let's just hope you forget about me too
