You came to me when I wasn't there,
Sprouted in my thoughts and bloomed into poison.
You set me on fire, collarbones burning like charcoal under my skin,
Clawing at my hips that weren't so evanescent
Or the flowers that grew on my ribs because
I needed to be beautiful.
