"Untitled"

I have this thought in my head that I’m not good enough

I shiver and cry because I’m such a mess

What do I know of Holy?

The days roll by and it’s time to see the therapist

All she doesn’t know, so many things I don’t confess

I have this thought in my head that I’m not good enough

Sickness rolled in and I couldn’t move, why am I still here?

Bone marrow biopsy, MRIs, and so many blood tests

What do I know of Holy?

To listen to the church sermon and feel hypocritical

Turn around, leave, and want to feel blessed

I have this thought in my head that I’m not good enough

To think back on what I stood for, how strongly I felt

When one small drink lead me to let in The unwelcomed guest

What do I know of Holy?

Then you come along and I give you my all

Even though I know that I’ve tried my absolute best

I have this thought in my head that I’m not good enough

What do I know of Holy?
