Untitled

I am Eve, you my forbidden fruit. Filled with desire am I, but also apprehension. Take that fruit and learn, but feel the shame, Or keep the innocence, along with biting curiosity... To whom do I owe this Odd fascination? Certainly not you, For you've been nothing but a friend. Not even a glimmer of temptation. Nor I, for I've only known you As a friend. Who then, I ask. Is it fate, her wicked ways Binding us close? Or perhaps I've gone mad, and I'm Madly loving you... Do I dare continue living Pretending you love me, though I truly love you? Or will I Forever die without love, for You are the one I want. A strange love this is. One without Words or physical need. Yet I Crave your touch, and your words Will be mine to hold dear.
