Untitled

Do your eyes see

the same colors

as mine?

To make hearts beat

in step,

Pain is taken and poured

To words.

There is no biased poetry.

It asks:

Am I alone?

Am I alone?

I'm not completely satisfied with it, but I think I got the point across without weighing it down with unneeded words or phrases (I try to keep things concise). Submitted for the "You, Me, and Poetry Scholarship Slam"
