Untitled

Each day she finds it harder To put a smile on Each day it takes her longer To get ready in the morn Day blends with night, She hides in fright Of being hurt again When the world creeps in And your walls come down Don’t let the darkness in No smiles fade to frowns Keep your heart strong, girl Let words drift right through No one can make you feel inferior If you don’t want them to Smiling for the camera Crying in her pillow Her pain that defines her A beautiful weeping willow She hides her cuts They write their smut No one can protect her Today she decides, she won’t let them win She gets up, powers on, she logs in Deletes the sites, fights her fights Relief for but a night
