It was a dark sunrise.


 

the flowers wilted,

and the black sun shone.


 

It was a comforting pain.

bones healed like glue,

 

and runny eyes were dry.

 

It was an agonizing relief.

 

         dry tears ran down cheeks,

     and heads ached with hope.

 

 

 

It was a dark sunrise.
