I tell myself

they breathe

I gasp

 

long and deep

In and out

 

drag of footsteps

   t

e     r down my face

  a

tremble of your breath

 

cars go by

you sniffle

a child is laughing

 

Anxious

Relaxed

Tired

      

            i l

In the h       l s

I felt it all

And I felt nothing
