We sing redemption songs,

Do we of restitution?

We sing of His faithfulness,

But do we image that?

Fervent lips in a prayer -

But do they of our testaments?

The closet or the pedestal?

Reconciliation before bended knees -

Does that ever happen?

Only in the scriptures,

There it does –

But does it in us?
