Untitled

Love me before I wake.

Leave me not

Before the first light breaks

Lest love rot.

Give not into night my love

Nor abandon me for rest.

Your lips were what I dreamt of,

Against mine they were pressed.

Oh how love possessed me,

Has it any hold on you?

Have you thought of us, of me

At least the way I do?

Will we ever meet again,

One night was not enough.

I have no care come Hell or Heav’n

Only to know your love.
