untitled

You, with a shape so foreign and familiar at the same time

I'll give you something to remember me by

If only my blind fingertips could brush your face once more

Hurry now, love, I can hear them running

I'll help you soften your laughter if you help me catch my breath

Faint footsteps are nothing but an illusion of a threat

But for now, stay with me and hold my head gently

So that I may never make the mistake of moving too quickly ever again.
