Untitled
I've been living a tough life, I guess?
Tons of rules and laws I should abide with.
Pleasing characteristics that I should possess;
Living like a princess that other people should look up with.
Live according to what they wanted you to be,
Seems like the major rule.
"You should do this" my mom always told me-
Being obedient is the tool.
I abide those rules they implemented,
Despite of the difficulties and tears I shred.
Because I believe that this is all for me-
For my future and the society.
Truly, I am right!
The etiquettes I possessed gave me the spotlight.
They were amazed on how I behave,
Definitely disciplined and not naive.
Things got changed, I guess?
When I started carrying out those rules I possessed.
My mom said that I'm wrong and so mean,
for being strict and perfectionist.
It's so unfair! I blurted out,
I suffered and cried for many years,
Then they will just alter the rules they formerly implemented?
Everything seems useless:
The agony and tears.
I was raised to be a disciplined person,
With proper conduct and etiquettes.
Yet I can't understand, what's the reason?
For holding back and changing it?
Is it because we're in a new generation?
Where everything has an exemption?
Where manners are so old-fashion,
And discipline is an option?
I am who I am because of what they've taught me,
So they shouldn't just put all the blame on me!
This is the product of the past,
And I'm certain that it would really last.
At this point I'll just keep my mouth shut,
Pretend that I didn't notice all the ill-mannered actions around us,
Despite of the fact that it make me so mad,
I'll just make a way to surpass,
And the one who will adjust.
How unfair this world I live!
Hatred and disgust is what all they can give.
What they're doing right now,
Is different on how they discipline the youngsters before.
My efforts and difficulties are useless,
Burned into pieces.
I'm really sick of it,
It's unfair! I can't help it.
People nowadays don't have respect,
Strict discipline is rejected.
Can't imagine what world it could be,
If things will be tolerated,
And won't be corrected by somebody.
