Untitled

I sit by the window staring at the paper, Emotions within my heart vie for domination. Thoughts like tears spill meaningless from my heart. How can I feel feelings that cannot be explained? I want so much for my heart to find it's voice, Lost in the world so many years ago, Buried deeper and deeper by feelings left unfelt. Maybe some feelings just gave up the fight, Knowing time would come and go until one day, When I sit by the window staring at the paper And play referee in this battle in my heart.
