Untitled II

May 24th begins Chapter 18
For a girl who's stuck in between
The yin and yang of night and day
Hopeless, lost, trying to find her way
Guided by her thuggish love
In whom she sees an innocent dove

Lied on, ridiculed, and obviously hated
She's beginning to think life is overrated
Every mistake, a flaw highlighted
Every success, a wrong never righted
Each day is faced with a stoic expression
As she silently endures painful depression

She tries to feign happiness but lacks zeal
Sadness is the only emotion that seems real
She silently cries for help; she isn't okay
But everyone chooses only to push her away
Adulthood is worsening at an alarming rate
But no one will care until it's too late
