untitled VI

I’m sitting here, typing, like i do every single other night.

tonight my mind is running in a million different directions,

like I’m waiting for the thought police to pull me over for passing the speed limit of brains.

anyways, all humor aside,

i am drowning in responsibility.

which, granted, is expected of a high school senior.

of course i can’t complain, i know what I’m meant to

be doing,

i can’t help but feel its utterly useless though.

i feel like i need to be doing more, to be more.

i say this time and time again where my fingers and

my brain

go faster than i can comprehend at times

but,

i know, in my heart, i am more than my stress

and my fears

and my failures

i am more.
