An Untold Past

An untold past,
Roses without thorns,
Covers me with the blanket of euphoria.
The brightness and color and vigour of life,
all lost but once on whom I ruled.
The soul is lost but body is there.
Of  what use i wonder???
No color,no vigour ,no life
just a vagabond
But life it is,
gloom and happiness the two sides of a same coin.
Betrayers of life they are,
for both bring equal grief.
The rose is now full of thorns on which i have to walk.
Sacrificing everything,felling an unbearable pain.
The incandescent lights glowing,
I fail to find panacea, but i know it will come.
This is only one labyrinth
and many more are to come.
The chess has to be played
and the king has to die!
