Untouched

I have this dream I'm not flying but not falling either I feel at peace I'm running Surrounded by trees that touch the sky So many different shades of green I could lose my mind The moss on the floor and hanging from the tress Grazing my body as I run The dark rich dirt under my feet Sink under my feet, leaving clear tracks of my existence The pebbles and stones around large unforgiving rocks A waterfall near gushing, giving my ears pleasure The cold still air touching my skin Feeling it whisk around my small frame as I doge the tree trunks The sun peaking through the endless tree tops Shining down on my face giving my warmth I slow to a jog bouncing around the forest I take everything in The bark on the trees, the moss hanging onto the forest floor The mushrooms growing carelessly out of the ground The vines trailing up the many verities if trees The bird calls and land slowly moving around me The waterfall not to far from where I stand The animals waking up for a new day Another struggle to survive another day The droplets of rain falling from the branches high above my head Aimlessly onto my shoulders I run towards the sound of the waterfall Breathing hard and fast, seeing it disappear before my eyes I stop running looking down no where to run I stood on the edge of a cliff, with the waterfall to my right Endlessly, carelessly, freely running down over a mountain of rocks Down to a cool deep clear pool I back up and run full speed in but stop suddenly A thought occurs to me There is a reason that it is the way it is I look around no animals near it Not even birds above it It is pure clean and this here This uncut raw beauty Can not be touched, can not be ruined Ever lasting, sustaining, forever unchanging , beauty that is my dream
