Untraditional Love

The love I have for you is unconditional

And yet very untraditional

Whenever we speak you treat me like crap

And everytime I cry and feel like such a sap

A hate/love feeling is what I have for you

A hate/love feeling, I'm sure, is what you have for me too

Though most of the time the love is not shown

Which just makes me feel more and more alone

Everything was so much different with her

The love was so evident, that I was happy, and not just trying to endure

The way you are to me makes my life so much more rough

Nothing I say or do is ever good enough

Within the first minute we speak, you yell at me

Which is why I try to stay away, and just leave you be

Right now we are pretty much stuck with eachother

But when we finally aren't I wonder, if we will ever want to see one another

There may be resentment that might remain

And if we see eachother or speak, it might just bring back the pain

I try to talk to you, to change things and start over new

But after two weeks it's deja vu

I try to come up with some type of solution

And do hope and pray someday, there will be a resolution

But for now, while the love I have for you is unconditional

This love/hate relationship we have, is certainly untraditional
