Unusual Punishment


I thought that to get the death penalty
A jury was required
But you put me in the electric chair,
Flipped the switch,
And left
 
Except, instead od welcomed death
I sit here, burning
Endlessly 
Slowly losing what little mind
I somehow managed to keep
